Abbath
I have played lead guitar with the the legendary Abbath (former frontman in Immortal) since the first album ABBATH in early 2016. We have release another two albums since then and I have contributed with some composing and arranging, added some acoustic guitars and even sneaked in some exotic string instruments ;) and of course the lead guitar work
We have toured extensively in Europe, USA and South America since 2016 and continue to serve Norwegian Black Metal to audiences all over the world. For 2023 we have a few festivals around Europe coming up, Wacken amongst them. in the fall we’ll be going to Mexico Metal Fest and will hopefully do a few other gigs while in SA. 2024 is far away still, but I know there is some plans ;)
Here is the song Dream Cull from our last album Dread Reaver where I made an acoustic intro in homage to my 80´s guitar heroes Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen. I do a little play through of that in the video underneath.
And underneath that again is the official video from Harvest Pyre from our previous album Outsider, where I play the guitar solo by the ocean on the wild cliffs of Sotra ;) followed by a live clip from Hellfest summer 2022.
