Odisea 4tet
For over 20 years I have traveled to Andalusia to study flamenco guitar, Odisea is the culmination of musical friendships formed thru these years, especially with flamenco guitarist Oscar Lago.
Musicians from Norway, Andalusia (Spain) and France/Canada form the quartet Odisea wich aims to create their own personal expression, building from the tradition of flamenco-jazz that emerged from giants like Paco de Lucia and Chick Corea. But they also search to merge elements from other musical traditions into a coherent and exiting music that encompasses the musical background of each member.
